To Apply: E-mail your resume to info@detecsystems.com or call 250-655-0911 Position Overview: • Coordinate the installation of a state of the art moisture detection system, for roofs, with the purpose of detecting moisture accumulation. • Provide instructions and inspections of the installation contractors based on Detec design. Key Responsibilities: • Execute contractor training, quality assurance tests, and onsite system installation troubleshooting • Communicate with Design/Construction Team to the requirements of Detec systems • Installation and programming of system electronics • Create knowledge database for common problems and resolutions • Participate in operations and project management of Detec installations Essential Knowledge and Skills • Low voltage installation experience required • Layout of electrical low voltage systems • Ability to read and quickly understand architectural and electrical engineering drawings • Ability to estimate construction related products and services beneficial • Must be proficient in use of computer systems including office, web services, email Performance Competencies: • Effective analytical, written, oral, team and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines Assets: • Experience with building construction industry, specific to roofs • Hands-on experience with building electrical and control systems • Low voltage or electrical license • Basic AutoCAD drafting experience |
